Our Sunday Morning Service.
We start with tea, coffee and refreshments at 10.30am. A time to chat before the service begins. We start the service at 11am and begin with a warm welcome and church notices. We start our service with some lively action songs for everyone to take part in, this is a fun way to start the service all together, before the children leave for their Sunday activities. We have a mixture of music often led by the worship team, although sometimes we use music videos if required, with words displayed on the screen at the front of the church. A relevant Bible-based message by one of the Garland Street team or a guest speaker. We also have a time of prayer. On the first Sunday of each month, we also have Communion together. We aim to finish our services around 12-noon. Although prayer is available after the service and there is a chance to chat some more. We also have several Family services spread throughout the year. |
Our Sunday Evening Service.
Our Sunday evening service starts at 6pm and is perfect for those looking for a more traditional style of service. Our evening worship is led by the church organ and on occasion piano and our evening worship can be followed along using hymn books provided. Our teaching is normally reflective and led by the church minister, church organist, and/or members of the church. We have Holy Communion together on the 3rd Sunday of the month. We aim to finish the service around 7pm, but refreshments and conversation is available in The Church Lounge afterwards. There is also a chance to stay in the church sanctuary for prayer and conversation after the service. |
Sunday activities are available for children ages 3-13 during our 11am services.
There is free parking on Garland Street and neighboring roads outside of residential parking restrictions, or we are a short walk away from Ram Meadow Car Park (£2.50) and Cornhill/Buttermarket parking (free until 1pm on Sudays).
