We are a relaxed and friendly church in the heart of Bury St Edmunds. We are a fellowship of local Christians who believe we are called together to love, worship and serve God; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
 
​One thing you can be sure of is that you will receive a warm welcome as soon as you enter the church. Regardless of your background or situation, whether you are a Christian or not, we are incredibly excited that you decided to spend time with us!
 
​We love meeting new people and are blessed to be able to cater for all ages with various activities throughout the week, from children's clubs, friendship groups and loads going on for those who are more mature in age and everyone in between. We also have links to other ministries and initiatives to ensure we truly are a church for our community!

We belong to the wider family of Baptist Churches in the UK - the Baptist Union of Great Britain - and to the Baptist World Alliance. We share the vision that as Christians and part of the Baptist community, we are called to be:

An inclusive community
A sacrificial community
A prophetic community
A missionary community, and
A worshiping community

The aim of our church is
'To follow Jesus and make Him known'

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only Son of God, and that in His death and resurrection He reconciled us with God. Through fellowship, worship, praise, communion, prayer and Bible study we aim to strengthen and encourage one another, to lovingly care for our neighbours, to serve our community, and to bear witness to the good news about Jesus Christ. We also support those who serve Him both at home and abroad.
 
By 2024, in God’s strength, we will be united by a deepening faith and knowledge of Christ. We will be a multi-generational church, committed to sharing the love and message of Jesus with those who don’t know Him as Saviour.
 
We also believe in the wider church and work closely alongside other Christian churches and Christian organisations in our town and wider afield.
